Service Description

An injection visit typically involves a healthcare professional administering a prescribed medication via injection. The process generally includes the following steps: Patient Assessment: The healthcare provider will confirm the patient’s identity, review their medical history, and check the medication order to ensure the correct drug, dosage, and method of administration. Check and document vital signs: Blood pressure, heart rate, pulse, respirations Explanation and Consent: The procedure and purpose of the injection are explained to the patient, including potential side effects and any aftercare instructions. The patient is asked for verbal or written consent before proceeding. Site Preparation: The injection site (typically the arm, thigh, or buttocks) is cleaned with an antiseptic wipe to reduce the risk of infection. Injection Administration: Depending on the type of injection (intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal), the healthcare provider will select the appropriate needle and syringe. The injection is administered carefully, ensuring minimal discomfort to the patient. Post-Injection Care: After the injection, the site may be covered with a small bandage. The provider will monitor the patient for any immediate adverse reactions. Documentation: The injection, including medication type, dosage, site, and time, is recorded in the patient's medical record. The provider will also note any observations or reactions. Follow-Up: Aftercare instructions are given to the patient, including information on when to return for subsequent doses if necessary. The patient is advised on signs of any potential complications to watch for, such as swelling, redness, or allergic reactions.

Cancellation Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy Atlanta Psych and Wellness Center is committed to compassionate care and fair, transparent billing. 1. Prepaid Appointments Some services (like new patient visits) require full prepayment to confirm your appointment. This amount goes toward your visit balance. 2. Cancellations & No-Shows 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the visit fee. This applies to all appointments, including technical issues caused by the patient (e.g., late login). Note: These fees are not billable to insurance and must be paid before future bookings. 3. Refunds Services that have already been provided are non-refundable. Approved refunds will exclude processing fees, which are charged by our payment processor and not retained by our office. To request a refund, email: atlantapsychllc@gmail.com with your full name, date of service, and reason. Requests are reviewed within 5 business days. 4. Chargebacks Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us directly causes unnecessary costs to the practice. Policy: Accounts with chargebacks will be permanently closed. No future appointments can be booked on that account. Please reach out to resolve billing concerns professionally. We understand emergencies happen, please contact us if you need help. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.
