Service Description
Follow-up appointment: (2nd visit and beyond) This follow-up evaluation involves follow up/continuation after your initial new patient psychiatric evaluation. In efforts to optimize health, you and the healthcare provider will fine tune your treatment plan. Adjustments to the treatment plan and medication(s) are made jointly. Referrals, additional evaluations and other recommendations are reviewed. Friendly Reminders During Your Follow-Up Visit: 1. Ask your psychiatric provider questions, including what he/she thinks the diagnosis/problem may be, as well as what tests, if necessary, are needed. 2. Make sure that you obtain a clear understanding on what your role is in treating your condition, as well as what you can do in the future to prevent any recurrences. 3. Make sure you understand any possible side effects of any of the medications your psychiatric provider prescribes during your office visit. **If you are an existing patient and have NOT had an appointment in more than ONE calendar year (eg: 365 days), you are considered a NEW patient. You are required to book a New Patient Appointment**


Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy Atlanta Psych and Wellness Center is committed to compassionate care and fair, transparent billing. 1. Prepaid Appointments Some services (like new patient visits) require full prepayment to confirm your appointment. This amount goes toward your visit balance. 2. Cancellations & No-Shows 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the visit fee. This applies to all appointments, including technical issues caused by the patient (e.g., late login). Note: These fees are not billable to insurance and must be paid before future bookings. 3. Refunds Services that have already been provided are non-refundable. Approved refunds will exclude processing fees, which are charged by our payment processor and not retained by our office. To request a refund, email: atlantapsychllc@gmail.com with your full name, date of service, and reason. Requests are reviewed within 5 business days. 4. Chargebacks Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us directly causes unnecessary costs to the practice. Policy: Accounts with chargebacks will be permanently closed. No future appointments can be booked on that account. Please reach out to resolve billing concerns professionally. We understand emergencies happen, please contact us if you need help. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.
